Flying saucer sculpture by Howard Waldrop"Your Planet or Mine?" sculpture
by Howard Waldrop

Thanks for checking this page, but the item described here has been claimed as a reward by a happy donor, and is no longer available.
Living National Treasure Howard Waldrop has crafted this extravagant spacecraft with the same meticulous care he took assembling model airplanes when he was ten. The fact that this particular model, upon close inspection, proves to be made mostly of ordinary kitchen equipment confers a surreal, sniffing-the-airplane-glue effect upon the viewer, with no unhealthy side effects.

You'll need to see it to completely believe it. And even seeing it may not be enough. Take it apart, put it back together, run around the room with it making beeping sounds. Play with it for many happy hours. (The hatch opens!).

The hatch opens to display two tiny extra-terrestrials, and it comes with a detailed set of hand-drawn blueprints — more an exegesis, really… Howard says "You want this!" and he's absolutely right. Flying saucer sculpture by Howard Waldrop

Description: Hand made, hand-painted assemblage by Howard Waldrop, signed on base, with holographic signed and dated instruction sheet. 9" high by 10" long by 9" wide. Bolt together the two sections in which it is shipped, and you can consider yourself a Waldrop collaborator…
