Since the US Congressional cafeterias are no longer serving french fries, I was able to find, at a discount, many excellent French words to add a little class to the Infinite Matrix home page, and also to express my appreciation for French sanity.

May I offer you a little more of the Château Margaux, before we have to start calling it Freedom Wine?

Eh bien, the fundraiser....

Why I need money: I pay my contributors. I pay my webmaster. I put in many hours a week and take no money out myself, but I can no longer afford to put money in.

If you enjoy the site and you haven't donated anything yet, please donate what you can afford, even a dollar or two, to show your support. This will help us get funding in other ways: sponsors and grantors don't like to give money to a site that only a few people care about.

When we hit $2000, I'll post a new Richard Kadrey story, and more Schism Matrix. When donations reach the $2500 level, I'll post Ben Rosenbaum's new story, The Death Trap of Dr. Nefario. When I get $5000, we'll go back to business as usual: absolutely free content five days a week.

Thanks for any contribution you can make. Donations via the Amazon Honor System are completely anonymous, so if you're embarrassed about not being able to toss in a fifty, that's the way to go. There is no service charge to you for either Amazon or PayPal. — Eileen
