Uh-oh, the Guardian in the UK has gone and loudly blogged every major antiwar website in the digital universe. No-Global is about to go mainstream as No-War, with the biggest street demos in a generation. Cross your fingers and hope they're nice and velvety and peaceable like they were in 1989, as opposed to, say, 1968.



Excellent public-spirited contest here for the world's stupidest so-called "security"  measures.



Today's put-upon kids, who are growing up in war and depression, may not know this, but kids, when things are just rotten, heartbreaking, and no damn good at all, no rock band in the whole world sounds quite as good as The Smiths.



Ceca Raznatovic has the rare distinction of being a hot, busty, pop-star babe who is also the widow of a loathsome, genocidal war criminal.

Lots of ardent fans, too.



It was very likely some spy outfit in ex-Yugoland who built these evil little cellphone guns. They made dozens or maybe even hundreds.
